Diego Torres graduated in 2009 with a diploma (Licenciatura) in Computer Science from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, in Argentina. In October 2014 he got a PhD. in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) and PhD. from the Université de Nantes (France) with the thesis “Co-evolution between Social and Semantic Web”. Social Semantic Web, Semantic Web, Linked Open Data and recommender systems are the main topics on his research activities. Most of his work is applied to Wikipedia and DBpedia
